Please read these terms of service carefully before requesting a quote, booking a walkthrough or engaging Nvs Painting Ltd. for any painting service. By using the nvspaint.buzz website or by authorising work, you agree to be bound by these terms, which are set out in plain English so there is no confusion about the quality, the price or the schedule. If we work together, we want the result to be as clean as the cut-in line we leave behind.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms of service form a binding agreement between you, the customer, and Nvs Painting Ltd., the painting contractor. When you submit a request through this website, when you speak with our estimator on the telephone, or when you sign a written work order, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you have the authority to make decisions about the property to be painted.

Every internal link, service description and contact message on this website exists to arrange a paint job of genuine quality. Nothing on the site is intended as legal, tax or building advice, and you should rely on the written work order for all project specific commitments. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in full effect.

2. The Company

Nvs Painting Ltd. is a painting and coatings business operating out of 1460 The Queensway, Toronto - M8Z 1S4, Canada (CA). Our team plans and delivers interior and exterior painting for homes and commercial spaces across the Toronto region. The business name, address and contact details for all agreement purposes are as follows.

Nvs Painting Ltd.

Email: chat@nvspaint.buzz
Telephone: +12625363544

The website and the developer tools that support it are built and maintained by the developer NVSPaint. Your customer agreement for any painting services, however, is always with Nvs Painting Ltd. as the contracting business, and these terms govern the relationship between you and the company.

3. Definitions

To keep this document precise, we rely on the following meanings. A word written in bold type throughout this document is a defined term and keeps the same meaning wherever it appears across these terms.

  • Work order. The written scope prepared by Nvs Painting Ltd. that lists the surfaces to paint, the colours, the number of coats and the agreed price.
  • Estimate. A preliminary price given before a full walkthrough, based on the details you provide to us.
  • Quote. A fixed or carefully scoped price confirmed after our estimator has visited the property and reviewed the surfaces.
  • Project date. The date on which work is scheduled to begin, agreed between you and our scheduler.
  • Site. Your home or business premises where the work takes place.
  • Crew. The painters, helpers and supervisor assigned by Nvs Painting Ltd. to complete the project.
  • Defect. A failure in quality, prep or coverage that falls within our workmanship warranty.

4. Estimates and Quotes

We prefer to quote from a live review rather than from photographs alone, because a wall never photographs its own texture, humidity or previous film condition. An estimate offered over the telephone or through the website is a guide only and may change after our estimator has inspected the property on site.

Once we have completed a walkthrough, we provide a written quote that lists each room or elevation, the paint system, the number of coats and a clear price. The quote stays valid for the time stated on the document, usually thirty days. We agree to hold the price for that window and you are asked to accept the quote before work begins. Acceptance can be given in writing, by email or by signing the work order.

  • Prices are stated in Canadian dollars and may exclude applicable taxes unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Quotes assume the surfaces are in the condition we observed at the walkthrough. A later discovery of rot, mould or significant damage is outside the original scope.
  • The cost of paint is included when the quote keeps the same brand, line and colour we recommended. A request for a higher grade material after quoting may adjust the price.
  • Additions to the scope, such as an extra room or a second colour on a ceiling, are priced separately before the extra work begins.

5. Deposits and Payments

We aim to keep billing simple and predictable. For most residential projects we ask for a modest deposit to reserve your project date and to secure the supply of the chosen paint. The deposit is confirmed in the work order and is applied as part of the final balance rather than as an added charge.

  • Deposit. A deposit may be requested at the time you confirm the project. It is applied against the final price of the job.
  • Balances. Payment of the remaining balance is due on completion of the work and after a joint walkthrough of the finished surfaces, unless a written agreement states different terms for a large commercial contract.
  • Methods. We accept payment by validated bank transfer, debit or certified payment as agreed before work begins. We do not ask for your banking passwords or for payment by unsecure links.
  • Late payment. A project balance not settled within the agreed period may be subject to a reasonable late charge and to suspension of further visits or touch-ups until cleared.

6. Scheduling and Delays

Once you accept a quote and book a project date, we place that date in our calendar and reserve it for you alone. Weather, paint curing and drywall drying all obey their own calendars, so we build realistic windows into your schedule rather than promising a surface that is not ready to hold a coat.

  • Crews aim to arrive at the agreed time and always call ahead if the schedule shifts for any reason.
  • Exterior work depends on dry, mild weather. If rain, frost or high humidity would compromise the film, we postpone the affected coat rather than paint against the elements.
  • We give you advance notice of any rescheduling caused by the weather and work to fill the gap with another useful task where possible.
  • If you need to move your project date, tell us as soon as you can. We will reschedule at no charge to another available date within a reasonable window.
  • A cancellation after we have purchased custom paint or booked a dedicated crew may incur a charge for the materials and reserved labour already committed to your project.

7. Scope of Work

The work order is the single source of truth for what we will paint, with what product and in which order. Our standard service includes reasonable floor and furniture protection, surface preparation, priming where recommended, the topcoats stated and a clean-up of masking and debris on completion.

We encourage open communication about the scope at the walkthrough. If a surface is not included in your work order, that is intentional, and we will not make an assumption that could later cause a disagreement. Within the scope shown, we work to a professional standard as follows.

  • Wall and ceiling painting. Two coats of a topcoat finish over an appropriate primer, applied by roller and brush, with hand cut in edges at ceilings, trims and corners.
  • Exterior painting. Cleaning, scraping of loose coating, priming of bare substrate and weather rated topcoats applied at a film thickness suited to the material.
  • Cabinet refinishing. Degreasing, scuff sanding, priming and a sprayed topcoat that is allowed to cure fully.
  • Drywall repair. Patching of holes and cracks, re-taping of failed joints and sanding to a level stated in the work order, followed by priming and painting as agreed.

8. Customer Preparation

A smooth project needs a small amount of preparation on your side. To keep your belongings safe and to let the crew start on time, we ask that you clear the work area according to the checklist given at the walkthrough.

  • Remove or protect valuables, artwork, wall clocks and fragile items from the rooms we will paint. We will move reasonable furniture for you with care, but we cannot insure very valuable or delicate objects.
  • Clear shelves and counters of small items so we can reach the walls cleanly and avoid dust settling on your possessions.
  • Provide access to water and an electrical supply for our equipment where practical.
  • Keep pets in a separate area during active painting so they stay safe and out of wet surfaces.
  • Confirm that any wall mounted electronics, televisions or mirrors are removed by you or noted for us to handle with extra care.

9. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our preparation and application. Nvs Painting Ltd. provides a workmanship warranty covering defects that arise from faulty surface preparation or poor coating application to the walls we painted, for the period stated on your work order. This gives you confidence that the finish will hold.

  • Our warranty covers visible peeling, blistering, cracking or flaking of the applied film that results from a preparation or application failure on our part, rather than from an external cause.
  • We will repair a covered defect at no charge for labour and material within the warranty period, subject to our inspection of the affected surface.
  • The warranty does not cover damage from water intrusion, impact, humidity extremes, foundation movement, use of harsh cleaning agents on a low sheen film, or a defect that appears in a surface we did not paint.
  • Colour and finish choices are made by you. Differences between a printed sample card and the final installed film are the nature of paint and are not a workmanship defect.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the law of Ontario and Canada, our liability arising from any painting project is limited to the amount paid by you for the work on the affected surfaces. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost time, loss of enjoyment of a space, or damage caused by a condition outside our reasonable control.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, nor any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law. Because every building tells a different story, we inspect each surface carefully and flag hidden risks before we start so that your expectations match the reality of the wall.

11. Access and Safety

Safety is the first coat of every job. Our crew follows careful ladder, masking and ventilation practice, and we need your help to keep the site safe for everyone involved. We conduct a short site safety review at the start of each project and again where access points change mid way through the work.

  • Please keep doorways and stairs clear of clutter during active painting so that nobody trips while carrying a ladder or a full roller.
  • Inform us of any hazard you know about, including low areas, fragile ceilings, steep upper regions or a previous water mark that might hide damaged material.
  • We ventilate freshly painted rooms according to the guidance of the paint manufacturer and recommend that you keep the space aired for the advised time after we leave.
  • Crew members are instructed not to smoke on your property and to handle any chemical coating in line with the safety sheet for that product.

12. Website Use

The nvspaint.buzz website is provided free to help you understand our services and to get in touch. While we work hard to keep the site accurate, it is supplied on an as is and as available basis without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.

  • We reserve the right to change the structure, content or availability of any page at any time without notice.
  • You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, to probe its infrastructure, or to reproduce, scrape or resell its content for any commercial purpose without permission.
  • The service descriptions and all written words on the site are owned by Nvs Painting Ltd. and are provided for informational use only.
  • Colour chips and visual motifs on the site are illustrative and do not guarantee the exact appearance of an installed paint film.

13. Intellectual Property

The design, text, imagery and brand of the nvspaint.buzz website, including the name NVSPAINT and the Nvs Painting Ltd. business marks, are protected by copyright and related rights. You may view the site and use it to request our services, but you may not copy, modify or redistribute any of the content or creative work without our written consent.

Any colour references, coating names and product mentions we use belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the materials we apply. Nothing on the website grants you a licence to any intellectual property that belongs to Nvs Painting Ltd. or to any third party.

14. Termination

Both you and Nvs Painting Ltd. may bring a project to an end on the terms set out here. Before either side cancels, we encourage a friendly phone call, because most concerns are resolved with a small adjustment rather than a full stop.

  • By the customer. You may cancel at any time before work begins and receive a refund of any unused deposit, less a charge for materials already purchased and time already spent preparing the quote and site.
  • By the company. We may pause or end a project if site conditions make safe or quality work impossible, if the agreed payment terms are not met, or if we are denied reasonable access to the work area.
  • Effect. On termination you pay for the work completed up to that point plus any materials consumed, and our workmanship warranty applies only to surfaces fully completed and paid for.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without reference to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or from a painting project will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, located in the region of our place of business at 1460 The Queensway, Toronto.

Nothing in this section prevents you from making a complaint to a relevant consumer protection authority under the laws where you reside. We prefer to resolve any difference by a calm conversation first, and we will always consider a fair remedy where a genuine issue with our workmanship exists.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms of service from time to time to reflect how our business operates or to keep them aligned with the law. The latest version is always published on this page, and the date shown at the top indicates when the current version took effect.

Material changes are communicated clearly on the site rather than buried in a routine update. By continuing to use the website or by accepting a new work order after a revision, you agree to the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page whenever you start a new project so that the terms before you are the most recent ones.

17. Contact

Questions and clarifications are always welcome before any commitment. Please contact us with any point you would like explained, and a member of our team will reply within a reasonable time.
